The portrait process unfolds in this way:
The subject sits for one or multiple photographic-sessions, sufficient to enable
the artist to capture what he believes is the subject¹s essence in one or more
photographs. Once the artist is satisfied that the photographs have accomplished
that goal, the artist begins work on the oil portrait. The painting process itself typically
takes approximately two months for standard-size portraits of one subject. Once
completed, the artist obtains a frame that best suits the portrait, which typically is
made of wood painted in gold leaf and carved in a classic style. The end result is
intended to mirror the subject¹s inner beauty in an Old Master¹s Style.
