"Mark,
Ellie and I choose art we love and we don’t buy it to sell later. We love art by Steve Hanks, Behrens, Michael Florh, Romero Britto and Viktor Shvaiko. Our recent find which is prominently hung in the formal dining room where it can be seen as you enter the house, round the staircase or come from the living room area is an oil on canvas called “little reindeer.” It shares a room with Steve Hank’s works. Among all the art we have, the portrait of my daughter titled "Little Reindeer" by Mark Lovett, is the one we love the most. "

Stories and comments like this make it all worthwhile.
Beautiful Brydon, here reflects wistfully on the passing of her much-loved grandmother, Joanie (a fine pianist whose music had inspired Brydon to take ballet), but, tragically, Joanie passed away before she could see Brydon in her first ballet performance (The Nutcracker). Ironically, Brydon’s family had no photos of Brydon’s performance, a performance that Brydon dedicated to Joanie. The artist, Mark Lovett, chanced to be at that performance, and from all the ballerinas, inexplicably, he choose to paint Brydon. When Mark’s moving painting of Brydon was hung at the Ballet Studio, Brydon’s mother saw it and broke into a paroxysm of tears. The painting is now hers and serves to remind Brydon and her family of her first ballet and of Joanie, her wonderful late-grandmother, who made it possible. Destiny or Divine Providence brought Mark Lovett to The Nutcracker that night and inspired him to paint Brydon and capture that moment in time, in oils on canvass, somehow grasping the tear-stained emotions that Brydon and her family felt on that unforgettable occasion. As Edgar Degas said, “Art is what the artist helps others see.”

"Hello Laurel,
I received the painting that Mark painted today and it is incredible. It turned out very beautiful and I can not wait to give it to my husband. I am sure he will absolutely LOVE IT TOO!!!
Thank Mark so much for this beautiful painting. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I do not have the words to describe my excitement. This is so beyond my expectations that words can't express how I feel.
It was wonderful to do business with you, Mark and the gallery."
