Below are some snippets of my current 30×36″ oil on linen painting in progress. It’s fairly complex and I dont want to show the whole painting until completed. I managed to find a vintage early 1900’s gown for my model and we set the scene up in an old mansion called Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel in Taneytown, MD. The lace on the dress is quite a challenge and the background is rather complex as well, but you cant see it in these images.
